What does your garden become after sunset?

Discover how thoughtful lighting preserves depth, atmosphere and the view from your home.

As the evenings draw in, the garden becomes a different kind of space. You may see it more often from the kitchen or sitting room, while the terrace and paths take on a quieter role after work.

A considered lighting scheme does not try to illuminate everything. It selects the views and moments that matter: a tree seen through the glass, a safe route to a seating area, the texture of a wall or the soft movement of grasses.

At Cambridgeshire Garden Design, we plan those effects as part of the garden itself. We consider where you will look from, how you will move through the space and where darkness should remain. The aim is a restrained evening atmosphere that feels personal, comfortable and connected to the design by day.

Working with Grow Gardens, that intent is carried through the build so that routes, recesses and structural details are resolved before the finishes and planting are complete.
