After dark: designing for the evening hours

When the sun sets on a warm summer evening, your garden should transform rather than disappear. Finally, we select plants that come alive in the moonlight. White and pale-coloured flowers, such as Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' or white climbing roses, reflect the ambient light and seem to glow in the dusk.
